KQ: there is science and toughness and honor and caring and room for spirituality and a sense of indignance against many evils of the world created by various cultures!
it's the tv show version of me
lawrence (added in reblog): i feel the same way about tv shows now. i think it's ok. it just means that people have gotten really good at creating moving experiences through the medium of television. we still have to be vigilant so that advertising doesn't eat our brains, but it's basically ok. in the expressiveness of the modern media lie buried the tools of enlightenment. :)
